Hi, I’m Gina — and I created Status: Online as a space for people who work from home to feel seen, supported, and connected.

I’ve been working remotely for over a decade, and while I love it, I know it comes with its own challenges: isolation, burnout, endless tabs open, and never really knowing what day it is. I wanted a space that reflects the real remote work experience — not just polished productivity tips or minimalist desk photos.

Status: Online is a digital home for remote workers. A place to explore the ups and downs of working from home, find practical tools and ideas, and maybe even feel a little less alone along the way.

What You’ll Find Here

This site is built to grow over time, but right now you’ll find:

  • Articles about remote work life and staying connected
  • Resources to make your day-to-day feel smoother and more sustainable
  • A Discord server where you can chat, hang out, or just lurk in cozy silence
  • Plans for digital tools, downloads, and merch made with remote workers in mind

Why I Made This

I’ve spent most of my life online — from early forums to social media to fully remote jobs. I know what it’s like to thrive digitally, but also what it’s like to feel disconnected.

This isn’t just about fixing loneliness. It’s about building a culture around remote work that feels human, flexible, and real.

If you work from home — or want to — you’re welcome here.
